Whether getting set up for the day or kicking back, what we wear on our feet is an important detail
While loungewear is top of our collective agenda, what we wear on our feet is just as important. When working from home, I opt for comfy but cool trainers – worn only inside, of course – as they make me feel ready to work. For Daniel Mittas, visual merchandising manager, it’s slippers, because he likes their “combination of comfort and style”. “Who wouldn’t want their toes cuddled all day?” he says. “Luxury socks have the soft touch for padding around at home,” says Andy Potter, head of menswear marketing, “without any danger of my feet overheating.” Ross Coburn, marketing trading manager, picks pool sliders every time. “Halfway between slippers and bare feet, they’re the best of both worlds.” Even when at home, you can still put your best foot forward.
