My festive style prep involves two things: cosy knits and plenty of sparkle. For me, there’s nothing lovelier than wrapping up in a snuggly jumper for a crisp winter walk, then bringing out the sequins come evening. That’s why I’m loving these two looks from Irish style blogger Louise Cooney. “I live for knitwear at this time of year,” says the Limerick native, who picked this chunky cable knit from the new Per Una collection. The relaxed shape looks great whether layered over a printed midi skirt or paired with beautifully cut trousers. Now, onto the sparkle. This sequin slip dress hits all the right notes: in on-trend ombre, it’s flatteringly cut to sit just below the knee and, as you can see, looks great with classic courts and a tuxedo blazer.
