When you’re a beauty editor, one of the hazards of the job is falling in love with a product only for it to no longer be available. It happened in 2008, when Aveda stopped making its classic Cherry Almond haircare. Thankfully, it’s been reformulated and relaunched and is more than worth the wait. The gel-crème shampoo is packed with coconut-derived ingredients that cleanse effortlessly without stripping my scalp. Plus, the sweet scent of cherry blossom and almond is so good, I was tempted to wash my entire body. The conditioner is a mix of ultra-hydrating natural cherry-blossom extract, almond oil and shea butter. I can’t get enough of the bouncy, shiny, frizz-free results. Did I mention that these products smell like heaven? Welcome back.
