Faux Pony Skin Coat

I am a short size 12 , and can often fit a 10 but like more room in a coat. The fabric is lovely, but felt small in the wrong places such as arms bust and waist, just didn't sit right. length OK, much more design could have been put into a coat of this price, I agree with other reviewers the collar seems to cheapen the coat.

I read the previous reviews for this coat and that's why I decided to buy it. I wanted a longer stylish coat that I could wear during the day that would also be smart enough for night! This is perfect! The first day I wore it , three strangers stopped me & told me how nice it was! Some reviewers said the plastic collar spoiled it & I partly agree but this shouldn't put you off as its a beautiful & comfortable coat! The sizing is true to size .Very pleased.

The fabric was lovely, but the collar and the buttons were cheapy and boring. Completely spoilt the coat.

I have had so many compliments on this gorgeous coat. It is lightweight and hangs beautifully. Very on trend with the faux leather collar. Would highly recommend!

I have been looking for a pony skin coat for ages as a glamorous going out coat so when I found this coat on line I thought all my prayers were answered. How disappointed I was! The coat itself is lovely and is a very good fit, but as mentioned by another reviewer its not a coat that you could wear layers underneath. The problem with this coat is the awful tacky faux leather collar. It's badly made and does not sit flat therefore becoming a negative focal point. If the coat was cheaper I would seriously of considered keeping it and replacing the collar but it isn't! In conclusion this small item makes what should be a classy coat cheap looking and unfortunately I will be returning it.

I love this coat. I looked for a coat last winter and couldn't find one that I liked and that was comfortable. Wool ones make my neck itchy, and I am a petite, curvy size 14, so my choice is narrow especially when most sleeves are far too long. I feel like the proverbial "million dollars" in this coat. The fabric is soft and flexible, especially on the arms where bending them feels comfortable, and the sleeves therefore don't feel too long as they fold naturally. The pockets are deep and are accessed from the side rather than the top which I prefer. The length is perfect for me. I like the faux leather trim. The buttons are easy to do up. The size 14 was true to size and fitted snuggly (but not too tightly). The only downside for me is that I don't think I'll be able to wear two thick layers under it but that doesn't worry me as I'll be able to wear it for many months during the year, and it's smart enough to wear over a nice dress in the evening.

This is a very elegant coat although a little on the small side. The length is good for winter and the sleeves are a nice length. The faux leather collar spoils it as it looked rather cheap on an otherwise expensive looking coat and would not lay properly therefore spoiling the overall look. I am still debating whether to send for a a larger size.
