Button Through A-Line Denim Midi Skirt

I love the look of this skirt - the colour and the style BUT the buttonholes are impossible to deal with, feeling much too small for those rigid buttons, so I am still thinking about returning the skirt to you - such a shame. I do not think it has a relaxed loose fit through waist and hips. I would recommend the style and shape of the skirt to a friend, but they would need to try before they buy - to feel it would be comfortable as well as chic. I'm very vexed because here at last there is a skirt with a properly located waistline: I have to admit I had to purchase a size 8 rather than size 10, but so very often I do just that as other skirts and trousers have been too generously cut. What to do?

I ordered this skirt online, as it seemed a bargain price. However, my usual size 12 turned out to be far too small and I wasn't able to fasten it around my waist. I had to return it for a refund.

What can I say! Ordered a size 8, which was way too small, then ordered a 10 which again was too small. To make matters worse the buttons down the front of this skirt were VERY DIFFICULT to open. Very disappointing as I liked the look of the skirt in the photograph. Have had lots of problems with on-line ordering so will think twice before doing it again.

I really like this skirt. After reading the reviews I bought size 10 (sometimes I am an 8). Perfect fit, snug on the waist which is useful when not worn with a belt. I would have liked it a bit longer, it comes just below the knee. I am 5ft 9ins. Selling skirts in two lengths would be a really good move M&S. The only disappointing thing is the buttons, plain, more like jean buttons would have looked better, though I do like the bronze colour. Are a bit stiff to undo.

I am a size 10 in M&S, and originally ordered this skirt in that size. It was far too small on the waist. When I re-ordered the size 12 it was in the sale - so a real bargain. The size 12 fits perfectly. I have been hunting for an A-Line denim skirt that was just on or below the knee for some time and at last I found the perfect one. Last week I saw an almost identical skirt (with narrow fringed hem) in a Style magazine - entitled: 'from the Paris fashion show' - well done M&S for being so up to date fashionwise!

Very small on the waist despite ordering my usual size. Had to return.

A nice casual skit to wear for every day. Because it is frayed at the hem I am not sure how it will wear, whether or not bit of thread will come away at the hem. Have not washed it yet. It is true to size

THE HEM HAD A 4 INCH FRAYED STRAND HANGING DOWN. I COULD NOT OPEN THE TOP BUTTON. FAR TOO STIFF. COULD ONLY OPEN THE NEXT TWO BUTTONS WHILE IT WAS ON HANGER. NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH STIFF FINGERS. THE SIZE WAS SMALLER THAN M/S NORMAL SIZING.

Excellent quality and fit. It was true to size and a good alternative to jeans. I am very short so came up a bit longer but I liked the look. I am pear shaped and is very suited to the shape-no gaping on the waist.
