Oversized Bouclé Cocoon Coat

What a lovely coat, very light to wear but warm, and being washable is an absolute bonus, has shed pile a little on car seat....but nothing excessive , one of my best buys

I love this coat. A friend of mine arrived one day in a cream long haired jacket. I was embarrassed to ask where she bought it. After she left I searched a lot of websites for the same item but failed miserably. I am always on The M&S website but hadn't noticed that they had a cream Boucle coat. I think perhaps as it wasn't modelled I had totally over looked it. However, I decided to order the coat it was a little longer than I was looking for. When it arrived I loved the colour the style and that it is possible to launder it. Other customers have mentioned the fastenings keep coming undone. I haven't had this problem but they are a bit tricky to do up. The coat is very warm and cosy. I feel fantastic wearing such a glamorous item it makes me feel young again ...well done M&S.

I was browsing in my local store on a quiet night and noticed sign informing us of 30% off all coats, I have admired the range of fur coat from afar for quite some time and saw the opportunity to actually get one but alas did not have my size but then I got my eye on the winter white / cream boucle, tried it on and WOW loved it!!! Great fit good length for me (5foot) warm and trendy if not a bit impractical ( and definitely not my usual style) and as previous reviewers have said very difficult to fasten but it is a fun coat and then when I realised it could be machine washed that clinched it and I just had to have it. I wore it the next night and received lovely compliments. Thank goodness there were no furs my size as I think that I will get so much more wear out of this one at a bargain price!!

I was very pleased with this coat as I hadn't seen it in the flesh before I ordered it. The colour is not too white and the fit is lovely. It feels so warm and cosy and the length is just right. I loved it as soon as I'd unpacked it and can't wait for it to become a little colder so I can wear it!

Yes there is an issue with the fastenings but it looks just as good worn open. Not really a winter coat but excellent for shopping/work/evening. Great colour goes with anything and bought with a 20% discount. Go for it!

Great jacket worn casual or smart,very on trend with a glam 60's vibe. Love everything about it but will not bother to do up the hook and eye as it is a bit of a faff,looks great open over an evening dress or a simple skirt or trouser suit,can even be worn over skinny jeans with boots.

I had my eye on this jacket in-store but thought it was a bit on the dear side for what it was. When there was a 20% off promotion I didn't hesitate in ordering it! It's a really nice jacket, I will probably wear it with jeans/leggings as a casual coat as this is what it lends itself to. I'm not sure how warm it will be, it doesn't feel substantial enough for winter weather, maybe a good autumn/spring wear. Agree with the other ladies, the hook-and-eye fastening is a bit of a joke; trying to find the fastenings in the first place is a trial, then you've got to try and do them up. Love the fact that it is machine washable, however, I do wonder if the pile will matt over time and washes but I'll take my chance on a love-at-first-sight item.

I really like this coat. The only issue I have with it is that it is difficult to do up the hooks and eyes fastening. I shall most likely wear it undone.

Great coat Good fit just the right length

Ordered this coat for the colour and the fact it is machine washable.Was a snug fit but would be warm. The letdown is the fastening;;;;It took ages to fasten the hooks and eyes and seconds to fall open.The boucle material is quite thick and I feel a metal hook and eye would have been more suitable.had to return Please M&S can you bring more machine washable fabrics back, I have several white coats from past seasons and they are still going strong.
