Cotton Rich Striped & Bow Prom Dress

I ordered this dress for a Wedding and had planned to team it with a Black Bolero Jacket and accessories. However, I didn't keep the dress as it didn't sit flat across the front, it had a permanent 'baggy bit' which put me off.

Dress great. Delivery great. BUT this really was an impulse buy when I was in store and I very nearly didn't bother to buy. Usual reason. Not in my size (10!) I know so many people who buy elsewhere because stock not sufficient in store. So many people will not buy once they go home to think.

This was a gift to a friend in South Carolina. delivery was prompt and my firend adores the dress.Quality & style excellent.

This dress is a nice shape but the top of the dress is very wide - I mean the straps sit right on your shoulders so bra straps will show. I will keep it, as I got it in the sale and I will wear a balero with it which will hide this problem. Other than this issue, it's a nice shapely dress. True to size and sits just below the knee (I'm 5'3").

I bought this dress for my daughter to wear to a wedding, bought 12 and 14, 12 fitted fine althought she did not like the straight neck across, sort of rubbed the neck part but it fitted well. The biggest downside was that both the dresses the pattern did not match across the bodice , about inch out and looked awful that was main reason I returned them. As my daughter said ' The Sewing Bee Programme ' on TV would not have passed that so why did your quality control miss it !!!!!

This dress looks really lovely on - very comfortable to wear and a good fit. I don't really like the belt so didn't use it. I bought it to wear to a job interview, and I got the job, so my dress is also lucky!

So hoped this dress would suit as I loved the quality and design of the fabric. Size 14 fitted me perfectly apart from the fact that the panel across the chest didn't lay flat across the collarbone. Since I have a large bust(34H) thought I'd give the 16 a try. This resulted in the fabric laying flat however I was left with gaping dips under the armholes which left way too much of my bra on show. I feel that the shaping in the bust is curved in too much and therefore the sizings are either skimpy or gaping. I was so disappointed in the cut that I had to return it, despite the fit, style and fabric of the dress being so flattering.

Loved the material and fit of dress, would have been exactly what I was looking apart from the fact that the lines in the pattern of material do not match up at one of the joins in the front. Once I'd noticed this was just going to annoy me so afraid had to return
