Advent Candle

This candle is not what I think of as an Advent candle. It is a plain white, double-wicked unscented candle in a jar; a label stuck on the outside shows the numbers 1 to 25 in five horizontal rows of five digits each. The instructions, not immediately obvious, suggest that one should 'celebrate the countdown to Christmas by burning this advent candle for a short period every day. Cross off the days in the run up to Christmas.' Had I realised this was the case, I should have bought a scented candle and stuck a label on it myself! The candle doesn't burn evenly either - I have a circle of wax with a figure-of-eight shape burning down round the wicks. Not the quality I usually enjoy from M & S.
