M&S winemaker Jeneve Williams’ travels in India have led her to the unique region of Nasik, high up in the hills of Maharashtra northeast of Mumbai. Here, at the highly progressive and pioneering Sula Vineyards, she has teamed up with local wine specialist Ajoy Shaw and dynamic owner Rajeev Samant to create this fabulous rosé. Sula’s grapes are sustainably grown and harvested during the dry season, to avoid the monsoon, and at night, when the warm days give way to chilly hillside evenings.

No, I don't recommend this
The worst Zinfandel I have ever tasted! Tasteless, watery and really dry. No strawberry sweetness as stated on the label! No taste of the other fruits mentioned, insipid at best!

pleasurable wine

Excellent rose and white, hit during our Christmas party, and everyone who got it as a present absolutely loved both rose and white. Will definitely buying more. Only disappointment was the label, it doesn't represent Nasik, a very famous Hindu pilgrimage centre.

I bought this wine from a review in store and looked forward to tasting a wine from an unfamiliar country. I found little flavour from the wine and a nasty after taste. I will definitely not be buying any more.

This was a wine which was part of the 'tasting' on a Channel 4 Sunday Brunch programme in June. I am so glad I tried it - it is superb, chilled or at room temperature. Many Roses are bland but this is definitely not. I will buying a few more cases soon!
