Crab, spring onion and chilli linguine

Crab meat makes a delightful alternative to prawns. Add lemon and chilli for a fragrant dish that's easy to make and satisfyingly filling


  • 150g linguine
  • 1 tbsp olive oill
  • 3 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 100g frozen crab meat, defrosted
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1 small handful flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

Ready in: 20 mins

  1. Cook the pasta according to pack instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large frying pan and gently cook the spring onions and chilli for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the crab meat and heat through.
  4. Drain the pasta, reserving a little cooking water, and tip into the pan with the spring onions and crab meat.
  5. Add the lemon zest and parsley, season and stir well. Serve immediately.
