Pure Cotton Checked Shirt

I am very pleased with this shirt, the material is light and soft and the different shades of blue are lovely, it will be perfect for the summer.

I have , over the years , bought Indigo cotton shirts in a size 20, as this gives plenty of room over summer trousers or shirts. I have already bought 2 this season in size 20 and I am delighted with them. I saw this shirt online and again ordered a size 20. However, it was much too big and baggy although the fabric feels good. I have returned the shirt to the M&S Ayr store. Shirts made in India , I think, have to be bought in a larger size. I usually buy an 18,and occasionally a 16--depends on the manufacturer.

this is going to be a wardrobe staple when the weather gets warmer; it fits well and looks good, too.

Didn't keep this shirt, had ordered to wear under the blue sparkly jumper, but found it to be a little on the thin side, I do have 2 other M+S shirts that did the job, so returned it.It is described as a lightweight cotton, but for me just to lightweight.

Lovely soft lightweight cotton,in beautiful shades of blue and a perfect fit. Highly recommended.

My daughter (13) wanted this shirt as it is of a length that covers her bottom. The check is a fresh blue and the fit is good. I would say that the price is so much more than rival stores and for teenagers, it is not value for money. I would love M&S to have a more budget range to attract younger/budget conscious shoppers otherwise it will be the dreaded jumble sale style bargain shops for her in future.
