These firm control lace shorts are so comfortable and can be worn all day not just for a special occasion. I bought my dress size and they fitted me fine. The lace could have been a bit longer on the legs and the seam at the back is a bit itchy against my skin. I won't hesitate in buying more of these.

Iread the reviewsforthis garment&went up a size which fitted. Ichose the almond colour which resembles a nude shade. It is well made, lots of lace but I would not say that it was firm control despite the high elastane content. Never the less as shapewear designs go it is glamorous&soft to wear but I'd prefer to feel a little more control around my abdominal area.

I'm a size 8 and wanted a pair of pants that would give me a smooth line under trousers. These were really uncomfortable to wear , didn't do a lot for my bum and incredibly gave me a camel foot at the front. Honestly the trousers weren't tight and with other knickers there was no problem. So for me they weren't a success.

Bought these knickers to tuck in belly flesh and to wear with a dress to a wedding. It works better if one has small to moderate amount of flesh! Firm hold is not as firm as I'd thought, but managed to give one a trimmer belly look. Fabric is comfortable with pretty lace . I think if there's more flesh to tuck in, best to opt for the all in one piece.

was hoping I would like these shorts as there is little choice in shape wear that is lacy/pretty looking, but, was very disappointed as the lace leg area constantly rides up as you wear them. This causes a bulge at the top of the leg and is uncomfortable. Find them very difficult and uncomfortable to wear.

Lovely material, pattern, fit, colour & style. Unfortunately they are advertised as firm control but are really only light control. I kept them as they are comfortable, a good fit and were in the sale. No good if you need firm control but ok as ordinary shorts.
