Leighton Denny Limited Edition Dramatic Nail Polish 12ml

I bought two bottles of varnish one in supermodel and the other a mauve colour and both have chipped within a day. I took it with me to have a manicure and it was painted on for me and the other I put on myself with top coat. They both have not lasted. Other brands are much better as is your own Limited Collection. Disappointed.

I purchased this whilst it was on the 20% off offer - a good buy. Although I haven't used it, I swatched it and I love it! The colour is stunning, a deep purple with subtle purple micro-shimmer and mauve/pinkish glitter. Although it has glitter, it dries relatively smooth, I wouldn't dispense a top coat, but you don't need layers of it to achieve a smooth look. I don't own anything similar to this one and I believe Leighton Denny products are high quality - another good reason to buy it.

I have a number of Leighton Denny polishes and usually love the colour/shine. This colour seems slightly dull and lifeless-maybe bcs I'm used to the really sparkly OPI glitter polishes which get a lot of attention. It's ok but I'm not mad about it.

Saw the colour promoted in a Sunday supliment, hadn't used the range before. The colour is fab, perfect for this time of year and product the very best nail enamel I have ever used. A coat of base coat + 2 coats of colour + top coat, lasted 2 weeks. Also painted the colour all over nail and when dry added a diagonal wedge of gold polish on the nail tips only and then applied top coat - great party look

I expected the nail varnish to show up with more of a purple effect. as I ordered it on line I kept it although I did not feal it was worth the money but having said that it did go on nicely and adds sparkle.

Leighton's nail varnishes are new to M&S but I have been buying them for years. They are excellent quality, go on easily and always have amazing shine. From this specific collection I have bought Starlet (an amazing black gold), femme fatale (a beautiful shade of green, not too dark but fab for autumn) and Temptress (a purple shot through with a pinky purple glitter). I'm considering the other purple as well. I always get comments on Leighton's colours -the shade chart on the side does not do them justice. Beautiful colours, especially for the season and excellent quality as always.
