Firm Control Magicwear™ Strapless B-DD Body

I am just over 6ft tall and this body is not long enough. Very difficult to get on on my own and I ended up having to cut it off with the nail scissors after wrestling with it for nearly half an hour. Incredibly disappointed and unhappy, feel like I've totally wasted my money.

Very comfortable to wear. I t gives you a nice shape It also keeps the fat around your midriff more secure. Also a good buy with 20 per cent and Oxfam voucher off.

I really love this magicwear body. It has really good tummy control, does not ride up over your bottom and is a really good fit overall. I know a few people have commented on the straps coming loose, but I've found if you have them tight enough they stay in place. Really happy with my purchase... I literally wear it every day!

I ordered this item and THEN read the reviews. Mild panic set in, to say the least. I was expecting an ill-fitting product with poppers that don't stay together. Thankfully I was wrong and this fits like a dream! I'm a 34 D and an average size 10. I'm quite tall with rather a long body. This product fitted like a dream! After having a child 4 years ago, I'm a little more wobbly than I used to be. I've recently been performing and dancing in a local Am-Dram production and bought this product to 'hold me together' a bit and boost my confidence, dancing with a bunch of young 'uns on stage every night. Some of the costumes were quite tight fitting and this gave me 100% confidence. I wore this for 3/4 hours every night for a week and had zero problems with it. It was done up and undone several times a night to enable toilet stops and the straps were removed/adjusted in accordance to which costume I had on. I took it home nightly to wash ready for the next day and there's been no shrinkage or colour change. I'd say I really put this item through it's paces in the space of a week. I will definitely wear this under 'normal' circumstances again. I have a few weddings over the course of the summer and feel I can trust this 100% to do the job. If you're looking for something to wear under an outfit as a one off - this is for you. If you're looking for something to wear a lot - this is the item for you. I feel fabulous in it! As a wearer of Magicwear for some years, I've exprienced all the different designs and I can say I have never felt the need to write a review until now. This is too short in the body therefore the cups are slightly too low to support you properly. I can live with that, but.... The poppers are constantly coming undone! This makes it unwearable. Why do M&S keep changing something that doesn't need changing? Please rectify this problem, I live in these magicwear bodies and if I can't wear yours, I shall be taking my custom elsewhere.

I wouldn't say I was that long in the body but if I want to wear it strapless it would not stay up. Very disappointing

Sadly had to return it as it was too short in the body! As the dress I was planning to wear it under is "petite" I would not describe myself as having more than an average size torso. When returned to store another customer was returning the same garment for the same reason.

Gives a really good shape under a dress but not had a chance to wear properly yet. I am quite tall and but the length is perfect. I don't think the poppers popping when they shouldn't will be a problem though as they seem very firm and if anything a little difficult to undo. As mentioned in a previous review the straps are likely to come off a little too easily so I shall probably tack on for security. Bit pricey but I purchased when I had 20% off vouchers.

The quality is good, as are all M&S goods but it is not fit for purpose unfortunately as the poppers do indeed pop open when you least expect it. Previous reviews did warn me but as I have used Magicwear before I thought they were exaggerating. BIG mistake! Although the fabric is tight along the middrift which does keep your stomach in, it is less flexible than other models and less comfortable on. Sorry M&S but you really need to go back to the drawing board on this one. We can't even return them because it happened from the second time I wore it. I bought 2 one in each colour. VERY disappointed...:(

The quality of the material and the fit on the bust is excellent and fits to size. On those things i would recommend to anyone and give 100% top marks. The downside is that i can't now wear it as it's not fit for purpose! After wearing it for around 2 hours, and needing the bathroom, i walked across the landing back to my table and 'pop', 'pop' all the poppers came undone and the garment rose up towards my stomach! I re-did the poppers on 4 occasions and every time they came undone making the garment un-wearable! M&S really need to sort this problem out as it is waiting their loyal customers money and making me think i should go elsewhere for my underwear. Overall, not very happy at all!
