Big & Tall Water Repellent Regular Fit Flat Front Cotton Chinos

These are a smart pair of Chino's, good looking, and it was whilst visiting my local store an assistant checked for me and I found I could get my leg length and at the same time ordered me a pair for store delivery, good service. A plus point is the expanding waist, a good buy.

Sadly the initial colour on the website was different to the two actually offered, both of which were the usual boring putty or navy blue. The biggest issue I find is the lack of stock with a 35 inch inside leg. M&S make a big thing about them only being available on line, but then a large percentage of the collection in that size is generally out of stock.

I disagree that cut of these chinos is unsuitable for men who are "Big" not "Tall". My husband wears M&S "Big and Tall" chinos etc as he falls into the lower end of the "large" waist size group (with an average 31" leg) but likes to wear "normal" styles that do not look like they have been bought from an "outsize" shop, and he is extremely happy with both the overall fit of this chino and in particular where they sit on his waistline. Perhaps the reviewer who complains about the crutch depth being too short is an older person who wears trousers somewhat higher than the normal position but this is not something we have noticed at all. For an average height but larger waisted man like my husband this chino is great and he is about to buy more in other colours

Happy with these, would buy again

I found these perfectly acceptable in every way but I had to return them because of the unacceptably small front and rear 'rise' measurement. I wonder why M & S produce such nice trousers in the Big and Tall range bit only really take into account the 'tall' amongst us but not the 'Big'? Higher 'Rise' distances in trousers is a must - please M & S!

i expected them much lighter, so quite disappointed about the colour, but the current offer price will probably convince me to leave them. the chinos are not too wide but not the slim fit as i usually like buying for my husband as he's tall and slim. bottom line: they'll do for now

These fit so well that I have ordered several pairs in assorted colours. They are smart casual and even on someone my size they still look good. I have spent too long hiding in tracksuit bottoms it is a real pleasure to find things that fit well,look smart without feeling overdressed.

Need a slightly longer rise.
