Pretty in pastels

From lemon yellow to mint green, designers revelled in sorbet shades for summer. Add a borrowed-from-the-boys jacket to keep the look chic, not saccharine, and add character with geometric accessories and fashion-forward mules.

Hot-house blooms

This season’s florals are head-turning and richly-coloured; shrinking violets they most certainly are not. Art house prints

From cubist shapes to vivid watercolours, the spring/summer 2018 catwalks were awash with punchy, studio-inspired prints. The supremely flattering cut is a godsend for all figures, accentuating the waist and creating the illusion of longer legs. Try a simple shirt for everyday chic, or a sunshine-ready skirt for a garden party.
