Following the success of her first collection, cult kidswear designer Princess Marie-Chantal’s adorable new range includes pretty pastel smock dresses, little shorts and cashmere knits

When Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece launched her first collection for M&S last November it flew off the shelves, so don’t expect her new range to hang around for long. As before, the clothes hark back to a nostalgic vision of childhood, but this time the colour palette features pastel greens, blues and apricots, and fabrics include lighter cottons and soft cashmere. “It’s playful, it’s everyday, it’s special, it’s a little bit dressy,” says the designer: the perfect look if you’re taking little people to a wedding or garden party. My personal favourites are this textured dress, with smock detail and pretty pleats, as well as the shorts and braces set and the cashmere knit. Buy them now before they sell out.
