V-Neck Jumper Dress with Belt

I bought this dress with the recent 20% off offer. It is made with a very fine wool knit which could quite easily have cost 2 or 3 times as much had it been for sale in other high street brand stores. I have worn the dress and not found any problems with the fabric stretching or 'seating' where I had been sitting in it. It is straight cut and midi length which suits my size 16 'hippy' shape. The navy colour is a great change from black as we move into Spring. I wore it with a navy and gold scarf in the neckline. It looked great with boots, but will also look good with court shoes as the weather improves. All in all this is a really useful addition to my wardrobe. Well done M&S!

The material is very easy to wear and soft to the touch. Not too hot and bonus was it got me a cimpliment from my critical fashion conscious daughter! I wish there were more colours available as i would buy every one! One thing - a personal choice - i do not like self belts and just removed the one on this alongwith the belt loops - wear it just straight.

Elegant, perfect for work, meetings etc or leisure with accessories. Length is just right [I am 5'6" and most important- it has long sleeves. I wish it was in more cclours.

Can be dressed up or down. Went down a size, because it is rather on the large size. Great length for me as I am tall. It would be lovely in another colour, pale blue say.

I am 5'4" tall and a regular size 12. Knowing Autograph, I ordered a 10. However, because of the high wool content, it was very stretchy and once on, it was quite loose and ill-fitting. I sat down in it briefly and when I stood up, the fabric was already showing signs of bagging. There is no elastane content to offset this and help it retract, so I'm sure this garment would stretch and become baggy very quickly, even with a slip underneath. It was also very long and finished almost on my ankles. Looked fine with heeled boots but not for everyone. Too expensive to buy and risk it losing shape and definition. It is a very dark navy colour and looked great on the hanger. Shame.
