Twiggy for M&S Collection Single Breasted Coat

I love this coat. Will probably save for special occasions because of the colour but really look forward to wearing it. Perfect fit, excellent quality and fantastic price.

because the buttons are sewn on at a slant it does not fit very well size came up quite large but think if I went smaller (out of stock of 8 anyway) arms would have been tight at the top. Sent it back!

Sent for both sizes 10 and 12 as can be either depending on cut and style, as others have said this one is generous so the size 10 fit me fine in body but considering the overall cut of coat is so generous I found the top of sleeves quite snug and I do have slim arms! I like the appearance, style and quality of the garment and was going to keep the 10 having returned the 12. However Im now having second thoughts as again this is a dry clean only garment. The Autograph white trench of this season is also none washable and now in the sale. Im sure that others, like myself are reluctant to purchase light coloured coats of this type which cant be washed. I have had several white/cream mac type coats from M&S in the past which washed beautifully, why are so many now dry clean? Of course I wouldnt expect anything particularly delicate or containing wool or silk to be washable but these viscose/polyester type of materials surely ought to be easy care? Im taking mine back for refund purely due to this fact which is a pity but I cant be done with all this dry cleaning palaver.

This coat attracted great compliments; it looks much more expensive than it is. For our unreliable English summer weather it is the perfect coat over a dress for attending a wedding or similar event.

i had to send this back im normally a size 14 but this was far to big so I sent off for a 12 and today I sent this back was too big also

I recently purchased the Twiggy for M&S Collection Buttonsafe™ Single Breasted Coat, which I absolutely loved but smallest size available was an 8. I purchased anyway in hope it would fit but it was massive and had to be returned. I would definitely but more clothes from M&S if size 6 was available - why is it not?

Beautiful coat but white white white......in my opinion it would have only been worn once as a special occasion so had to return it to be practical.

I received this today, and it is a beautiful coat, but so full, I need to order a smaller size. I just hope that the smaller size will fir across the shoulders. We shall see.
