- Product information
- Sussex Vale Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
- Vintage: 2013
- A silky-textured, finely structured red blend from Western Australia's famous Margaret River region.
- About this bottle: The spectacular ocean scenery and temperate climate make this spot a favourite for surfers and wine lovers alike. This classic blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot was produced from a low-yielding, dry-grown vineyard in the celebrated Wilyabrup area. The wine - succulent and refreshing, beautifully balanced with subtle hints of mint and grilled pepper - was aged for a year in French oak barrels and minimally treated to preserve quality, which means it may throw a harmless sediment.
