Elizabeth Coat

Well made, ideal length for me 5,6" average build. Will be used for many years as won't date with the style and design.

I tried this on several times before determining that it was for me. While it is a close fit, the fabric is 'forgiving' enough to accommodate a slim dress or skirt but not a bulky waistband. It does have a subtle flair, which makes it not too 'mannish'. I have no doubt that its quality will enable me to wear it for,,hopefully,many years.

This coat is absolutely gorgeous and I'm so glad I was lucky enough to get it on sale. Best buy ever.

Bought the wrong size because the reviews said it was small. and no longer in the next size now.

had to return this coat,i am slight built,but the arms were so tight,a size 10,it would normally fit well,very dissappointed

A beautiful coat. Slightly small fitting. A classic style in a hard wearing fabric that will last for several winters.

Ordered this in size 14 and 16 to get the right size after reading the reviews. Normally a 14 in M&S coats. The 14 in this coat fitted me perfectly the 16 hung off me, far too big, as I have small hips, so if you are wide hipped you may have to have a bigger size. The colour is very nice as on photo. It does have a deep V at neck line, a nice large scarf which I got in cream from M&S looks really nice with it. This coat is not heavy on as you would expect being 100% wool (New Hebrides). I do not find it too coarse, as another reviewer said. I am pleased I have bought this coat and my first Best of British I have bought from M&S. It should last me for years.

I was really looking forward to a great classic coat but when it arrived I disliked the course fabric and the sizing was just dreadful. I am short but the body was far far too long with the button about 15 cm below my waist. Long body lengths is a continual problem with M & S clothing - please take note M&S. The coat will be returned.

I feel that this coat now represents excellent value for money. Yes it is a straight style but I find that very flattering and elegant. It is not too heavy and a sensible length for a winter coat. It has some element of colour rather than dull dark navy but without being bright and overpowering. I can well see this giving years of service without dating.

Nice colour and style butvthe fabric was coarse and not what i expected at all for this price.
