Pure Cotton Removable Lining Belted Trench Coat with Stormwear™

This coat was slightly longer than i'd expected but as a 5ft 2 women I think I should of expected that. The coat comes to my knees but is perfect in the wet wintery English weather!

Very versatile, collar comes of, and lining comes out.

I ordered this coat online and was disappointed when I received it for a couple of reasons: the fur collar looked really tacky and cheapened the look of the coat. Yes it is removable but when you take it off the coat doesn't look quite appropriate for winter. The inner removable lining is really thin and almost wondered what the point of it was as it certainly wouldn't add any warmth. I personally don't think this coat is very good value for money. If you're looking for a jacket for spring then this may be more appropriate but as winter coat sadly I don't think it meets the mark.

Lovely coat but the detachable fur collar is really badly designed. It falls off all the time and doesn't remain in place at all. I've had to take it off permanently which is a shame because it's would be a nice understated addition to the coat.... It needs more buttons, slightly smaller loop holes and a more secure way to keep the fur part attached securely to the collar of the coat.

This raincoat is very smart but also very practical and I love the feel of the material and the detatchable fur collar and quilted lining, great ideas. Lookd for a 'good quality' black raincoat for ages and ordered this with a discount, so very pleased. only gave 4* on styl as I am short and even I could have done with it being a little bit longer.

Very stylish, perfect fit (ordered a size 14). I like that the fur collar and lining is removable so that it can be adapted to the seasons/weather.

What more could you ask for: A well fitting waterproof coat, with a removable quilted liner, and a detachable fur collar. Hurrah! The removable liner means that this can transition between seasons well, and the detachable fur collar means that there's less need for a scarf Oh, and of course this means you have multiple looks in one item. It's definitely smart enough for the office commute (and no so bulky that it would be problematic on the train), and it's great with jeans too. The fit is flattering, and cut well enough to allow for a jumper underneath. Oh... and the pockets are at just the right angle. What's it missing? a HOOD. There only seems to be one manufacturer out there that makes a trench coat with a hood, which is madness, as anyone who commutes knows what a pain it is to carry around an umbrella (esp on a train), and a hat just ruins your hair (and you get a cold/wet neck too).
