Posh Hooded Duffle Coat with Wool

I bought this because I was desperate for a warm coat and this has a reasonable wool content and it was greatly reduced in the sale. My size was sold out so I bought a size bigger which was good because it means I can wear it over thick jumpers and it isn't too tight. I wasn't particularly struck by its style - I didn't much care for the yellow bits, but I have to admit that it looks a lot better on than off and people have said I look nice wearing it. When I first got it I thought the fabric was rather thin and stiff and I worried that it would not be comfortable to wear and would not keep the cold out, but it was all right. The main point is that it is warm. I have had to spend time on cold windy stations in the last few weeks of very cold weather and it has kept me warm. It looks reasonable and was a bargain, but I am not sure that I would have bought it full price.

Bought on line. Now this duffle coat is something different - really nice detail. Good colour combination. Fits well. Material is wool mix so should be cosy. Not too sure about that as although it states "lined" the lining is the yellow material used for the trim and is completely attached to the coat. I think it should state "unlined" and as such is a bit pricey. I just love it though and will wear it in spring.

Ordered this jacket on line. I love the style, fit, colour and quality. However the on line description does say that the jacket is lined and it's not. I would have expected a jacket at this price to be lined. The jacket is quite thin and is definitely not a winter coat. I like the style so will keep in it my wardrobe until the spring.

I LOVE this coat. I bought it online because I thought it would be functional but I now love how stylish it is. The attention to detail on the finish and exposed seams inside and on the hood are amazing. If I could change anything it would be to have ordered a size smaller and I wish it was warmer - you will for sure have to layer up with this one as its very thin. Even though I love it!
