PLUS Pure Cotton Hooded Floral Waxy Parka

Bought this parka last year and I'm really pleased with it. It is not waterproof but fine in light showers. Lightweight and ideal for spring days.

brought this a while ago was very happy to start with then got court in the rain well what can I say I might has well not had had a coat on at all,.the rain went t straight through onto my clothes and I wasn't out in the rain for that long sooooo bad, so save your invoice incase you have to return it iv not got mine not good .

I wore this coat out in the rain today, bad mistake, I got soaked. The rain soaked through the arm, shoulders and on the back, it's not even showerproof really. It's a shame because other than that the jacket is nice and a good size

Bought this jacket a couple of weeks ago. First time it rained today (not particularly heavily) and immediately I felt cold round my neck. When I took jacket off I was wet over both shoulders back and front and wet was coming through on the seam of the hood. Very disappointed - for being 'waxed' and having a hood this particular item is not even shower proof.

I wore this coat for the first time yesterday and it kept me dry in the showers. I am 5 ft 4inches and assure you that my knuckles don't graze the floor, yet the sleeve length is perfect and easy to turn back if you like. I felt this casual jacket was comfortable and good looking and well made. There are useful pockets and a well fitting hood. I would have to add that this coat is true to size and I am glad I took a size up to allow warm clothes underneath, in the colder weather. I am pleased that I made this purchase and think this is a coat that i will wear and wear.

I really do like this jacket, I choose to wear it above my other jackets and coat, very comfortable and I have had many compliments. Yes, the sleeves were long, but I turned them up, no problem. I am only 5;2" and found this to be a lovely fit. don't be put off by last persons remarks.

Lovely jacket - but just how long is the average arm? When I tried this on my hands could not be seen because they were completely covered up by the sleeves. I felt like I had my dad's jacket on! I couldn't even turn the cuffs back because unlike the navy wax jacket introduced earlier in the summer there was no pretty lining around the cuff - just nylon. I'm sure this will be a super jacket for the much taller ladies amongst us who have arms in proportion, but I'm 5' 4" and this jacket is on it's way back to M&S.
