Premium New Wool Rich Split Waistband Trousers

Very expensive trousers, certainty not worth the money

I ordered medium length, normally fine for me, but I felt these were too short for the style. I felt like an old woman (though I'm no spring chicken). Maybe long length would have been better but long are normally touching the floor on me (I'm 5ft5ins). Once again, they fit on waist and hips but too much material in the front/top of legs. That's why I've marked them as too big. Marks sizing seems to have changed, not for the better in my opinion.

I love these trousers, very good quality for the price. Fit perfect except waist much too large. I will have to have them taken in at the waist but the trousers were too nice to return.

These are a little too large on the waist so the band at the back juts out, also the double hook and eye on the waistband it is bit chunky, but they drape well and look very smart.

I bought these and another pair of trousers at a similar price. Although both were the same size and length on the label, there was a difference of almost two inches in the length. These trousers were also too tight on the thigh although they appeared to be of a cut that normally fits me. The material was poor quality and it was difficult to see why they cost more than much cheaper polyester trousers; the wool content did not seem to have added anything to the quality. Buying clothes from a retailer like M&S should not be such a hit and miss affair, they should be able to achieve stardardisation.

Unfortunately have had to return these trousers to yet again being far to large on the waist although I ordered the size I normally take and hips and length were a perfect fit...... so frustrating.

good quality fitted well and a classic design that will be suitable for work but easily jazzed up with a suitable top for a casual social event
