Polo Neck Top with Wool

Would not recommend. The picture was much nicer than the actual item. The roll neck was very loose and not a tight fit - so the picture was misleading. Also still very expensive - and it was in the sale!! Took it straight back for a refund.

Good for layering , nice jumper but cannot understand why it costs more than the basic polo necks I have been buying from you. Quality is not that different.

The "with wool" in the description suggests that this is going to be a thick winter garment. In fact it's very fine and silky. I shall probably leave off wearing it until the spring. The mocha colour is great, and very hard to find elsewhere.

It's very difficult to buy anything in brown, no idea why but thanks again to M&S for coming up with quality items as always.

At one time everything sold by Marks and Spencer was the Best of British. Find it insulting that this label is put on things to triple the price. After saying I would never buy any of this range, I did. It was very average and had to return it as the neck was I very bad fit.

It is surprisingly hard to find a chocolate brown polo neck and this one is just lovely. It is soft and slightly silky and a great layer for winter.

For some reason dark brown polo necks are hard to come by so I was pleased to see these. When they arrived (I ordered two sizes) I was surprised by the quality. I expected something a little more special for the money. They are very stretchy and I'm sure they will be warm AND the colour is great but I'd have been much happier if they had been £10 less even though I bought them with my 20% off vouchers. I'm a little concerned about how they will wash too. With these reservations, I've kept the size 14 as the 12s were shorter than I'd like. I couldn't discern any other difference in the two sizes.

Love the fine gauge knit, perfect for layering, cognac colour is a lovely shade of brown ( great with B of B checked skirt ) The wool content makes the top soft, especially around neck area, but still surprisingly warm. Far superior to the normal M&S polo range, do not be fooled by thinner appearance!

This is described as Best of British, but I was not impressed. Although it contains wool it is very flimsy, creases badly and you can almost see through it! It would be OK as a layering piece under a jacket but definitely not on it's own. The only good thing was the colour, a gorgeous brown, but not good enough to make me keep it!
