Bought these for my husband who is out walking the dogs twice a day rain or shine and they were much cheaper than the branded walking boots I bought 5 months ago. They are very good quality and comfortable, he went up half size. I always clean and waterproof them with a quality shoe product which is well worth it. I was comparing this pair of shoes with another brand, which provide the same water resistance and comfort and style as well, but I select M&S because the leather was brighter, but what I received was completely different, the leather was very old and very dark, looks like it was in the air for a long time, as I cannot return it back because of the international shipping cost, I had to keep it, If I am blind; I would love how comfort it is, this is the first time I have a very comfort shoes from M&S, but as I can see, I hate the leather colour and the look & feel

I have shoes from m and s of similar design, so went for the boots. They are comfortable and very practical. As others have noted they are slightly larger than shoes, maybe a half size or an extra pair of socks. I have found them more comfortable than traditional walking boots for hiking.

The boots were perfect sizing just slightly bigger than shoes for thicker socks which is expected with boots. They are very comfortable fit and good tread for slippy paths. Execellant value for money.
