Growing up, I was introduced to American and Italian shoes by my father. I thought price equates to shoe quality. The lower the price, the more disposable it is. The higher, it will last a lifetime. It turned out that a lot of the higher ones are for style and bragging rights and/or status symbol. This doesn't necessarily equate to quality. Not until I was introduced to British shoes particularly Northampton shoes. This is my first and the minute there was a 20% off, I bought it hurryingly. I must say this is the best buy in my collection when it comes to quality:price ratio. I've been hooked and I constantly look out for bargain deals. I bought my second Barker pair from another site and all I get are praises from family and relatives. Can't wait to dispose some in my rotation so I can replace them with Barker's.
