Large Longhaul Soft Value Rollercase

We purchased six of these, three years ago. Everyone of the handles broke with in twelve months!!! We do, however, take 4/5 long haul flights a year. This may have had a bearing on it. Wouldn't recommend them.

Bought two of these cases to go on a cruise and on the first leg of the journey the top handle came away at one end. The cruise line very kindly carried out a repair allowing us to get it home. This was the cases first outing. Although competitively priced the quality is not good enough for M&S.

Unfortunately the retractable handle broke in my way to the airport (while coming back home from a short vacation in London)and I got stacked with it for the rest of the trip without the handle. It Just would not open.

I purchased two of these suitcases in black and have to say that they really are great value for money as I purchased them when there was 20% off. I have just returned from Dubai and whilst each case weighed 18-19kgs on the outward journey they were 22-24 kgs coming inbound. The expandable additonal room was called into play to accomodate gifts and my reluctant untidy packing but I am pleased to say that the suitcases survived the trip none the worse for wear. I did debate whether or not to buy them in grey but was glad I didn't when I saw other grey suitcases on the luggage carousel they all looked dirty and showed every mark.

This suitcase is obviously nothing fancy but looks good and is light. I would say good value for money comparing it to other suitcases in the market. It's big enough to fit the 23kg's that most airlines allow per passenger. I have had other suitcases that seemed to be more sturdy but this one has survived a transatlantic journey, it's still in one piece with all handles and zips! I am very happy with my purchase

This nice looking suitcase seemed to be good value and came with a decent guarantee, but gets a low rating due to poor manufacturing and even poorer quality control! As soon as the packed case was lifted, one end of the handle ripped away from the case. One of the handle rivets, which should have been attached through the metal section of the handle, only passed through the fabric cover of the handle. As a consequence, the fabric tore and the handle broke. Shame, I'll buy another brand next time...

During its first outing the side handle broke free due to a rivet liberating. During subsequent flight support stand broke off the bottom of the case. These incidents and subsequent damage made use of the case difficult. We have had an earlier model of this case for six years which has survived many holidays including flights relatively unscathed. In my opinion the quality standard of this current model is not fit for purpose.
