Front Split Bodycon Dress

I saw this dress in store but had to order in my size. The fit was good but far to long for me, I am 5ft 2". I returned it not because of the length as I could have shortened it myself but it certainly wasn't up to the usual M&S value. If it had been about £25 I probably would have kept it but it wasn't worth the £49.50. Pretty plain and boring. Afraid I cant recommend this at all.

Tried it in store and loved the colour, style and fit - skims and flatters without revealing lumps and bumps and perfect length. However, at the checkout noticed the hem beginning to unravel at the front bottom edge, so ordered another. The second one had the same problem, but because I do love the dress I kept it and stitched it up myself, but better product checks please M&S.

I am an average size 14 but found this dress extremely 'snug' and consequently it did not look flattering on me at all. If you are on the smaller end of your normal size I think this would be perfect.The colour is very flattering for most skin tones and its a great length. The style mixes the current utility trend with a smart edge to great effect. I am also quite concious about the tops of my arms so a little sleeve would have been preferable but not a deal breaker had the fit been right. A great work dress that would see you through the seasons as it could easily be teamed with boots and a jecket in the winter months. This makes it great value for money as an all round piece.

Pop it in the suitcase for day or evening

This dress really flatters, beautiful fit, lovely material. Value for money.

At last M&S Autograph are getting back to how we all grew to love the brand. Stylish, not too expensive dress for smart casual attire. I'm looking forward to wearing this.

Wellade dress however the front sip came undone from the bottom from the bottom when trying it on this stopped me from keeping it in case this happened while wearing it

Bought with 20% off, recommend, but order a size bigger as it comes too small. Paid $40.00 customs, now will pay for sending back. Thinking about reordering as I like the dress, but will pay customs again and now have to pay the full price. Should M&S(especially Autograph, which is far from cheap) compensate somehow reordering as it obviously their fault in sizing?

This dress is seriously undersized by at least one size. Lovely though!

Ordered online after receiving a 20% discount code, so was delighted as I'd seen this dress in store and would not pay full price. Unfortunately this appears the norm for M & S now, seems you need to take a selection of sizes to find the right fit. Ordered my usual 14 and the dress is small. Measured against another of a similar style and this dress is clearly not a good cut. Will be returning.
