Faux Silk Pencil Pleat Curtains

Lightweight curtains ideally suitable for bedroom. Look great with tassle tie backs.

I bought these curtains for my bedroom, they were very cheap compared to other ready made curtains and buying fabric and making my own (which I usually do). As so many other reviewers have stated these curtains are lined, but the lining is ridiculously thin, I have added a second lining but am contemplating replacing this with a blackout lining. For the cost, size and colour they they are OK.

If you want white curtains don't buy these! The ones I received are actually cream with a cream lining. I should have returned them but thought they must look better hanging up - they don't. Extremely lightweight and if you use tie backs they crease very badly. For me a complete waste of money.

The main disappointment with these curtains is that the linings are cream and therefore the curtains do not look white, more of an ivory colour. If it is essential that your curtains look white (which is what I wanted) I would not advise buying these. I found it hard to decide whether to keep them but took a chance and put them up hoping they would look white with the light of the window behind them but unfortunately they didn't! I therefore have curtains which look ivory and don't match my newly decorated 'white' bedroom and it's too late to change once the cords are pulled! An expensive decision! On a more general note I would say the curtains are reasonably good value for money and the other colours should be ok. They are quite thin and don't have the 'luxurious look of silk' - they look like polyester but other colours may look different. One other point, as these are polyester why can't they be washed? This doesn't make them 'much more practical than silk' as advertised.

The curtains look good and feel nice quality but are very thin and let a lot of light through.

bought for bedroom, we were looking for white silk curtains and were struggling for white, as opposed to ivory, cream, natural. And the struggle continues... they are good quality, you can tell they're not silk but then again, faux hangs better than the real thing. I'd still recommend.
