Eyelash Lace Trim Waist Slip

I purchased this slip in the sale to go with a bodycon dress that was only lined at the top half so it needed something at the bottom to make me feel more comfortable. Does the job and I like the pretty lace.

This was not nice. Nylon-ey static and cheap feeling. I thought a slip was to put under something thin or slightly see through to give it extra weight,and a clean line, this had too much lace to go under something slightly see through. Also the lace was attached to the outside of the slip in a way that made the join of the lace really obvious and bulky, so no clean line. Perhaps Marks and Spencer, remember what the purpose for the item is before you start designing it!

Slips can be so utilitarian but this one has some style, femininity and a little frisson factor. Yes it performs it's designed function and slips easily under an unlined dress, leaving the dress to hang and flow properly. But also this has those lovely lace inches that make you feel just a little luxurious and flirty. Why would you not? So many slips available are drab just like a sewn-in plain lining. More adventurous styles and colours please and let's let a little lacy edge be glimpsed.

This is a lovely garment - but was clingy when worn with the M&S dress I intended it for. The dress was lined - maybe this was the problem? I returned it

lovely waist slip and 5in of beautifull lace at the hem, feels lovely and soft, ive worn it under an A line skirt and it helps the skirt hang better, and also gives a flash of the lace for the men out there lol lol

Really lovely and comfortable and more importantly does not cling hangs really nicely.

Purchase for wife, deep lace trim nice and good fit
