Easy Care Soft Touch Striped Shirt

Bought for my husband who went to put it on for Christmas Day - duly taking off all the tags, but it was way too small. He has worn M&S XL (not overweight but over 6ft tall and a 42" chest) for years; it was so tight across the shoulders and his back he had no movement, and the sleeves came up too short and therefore the cuffs tight. He had appreciated having a pocket! He would exchange for an XXL if still available, but that is ridiculous when you are a trim person. Can I return it (obviously unworn) without the tags? A blip in manufacturers sizing I would say.

This shirt was great success..until i noticed frayed section on back seam of armhole,with 2inches of white stitching!? Such a shame.No problem getting refund,but unfortunately out of stock now,as wouldn't hesitate to try this item again.
