    Deliciously complex red that simply bursts with cedar and cherry aromas, bringing flavours of dried fruit, sweet spice and vanilla on the palate.

    About this bottle: The grapes were grown near Heliopolis, ‘City of the Sun’ in Lebanon’s prestigious Bekaa Valley where the Romans once built a fine temple to their wine god Bacchus. Winemaker Jean Tannoury crafts this vibrant blend from gloriously fruity, sun-ripened Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes.

    This is a vibrant Greek red with cherry, plum and redcurrant fruit, great depth of flavours and soft, rounded tannins.

    About this bottle: Greece's beloved Agioritiko grape is famed for its rich velvety red wines, the best of which are from Nemea. It’s been a favourite here since as long ago as 800BC when the Greek poet Homer sung its praises. Winemaker Kostas Mitravelas uses his finest 20-year old Agioritiko vines for this wine and uses no oak for maturation, he lets the grape flavours speak for themselves.

    Filled with lovely redcurrant and plum fruit, supported by spice and chocolate, with a bright, fresh acidity.

    About this bottle: This wildly intense red comes from gnarly 19-year old vines in the majestic Bekaa Valley, home to Lebanon’s finest wines. Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon make up the blend, and winemaker James Palge, who honed his skills in Bordeaux, lets each grape shine. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for a year.

    About this bottle: This powerful complex red uses majestic Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon as a dramatic supporting act for local Kalecik Karasi grapes. Turkey’s premium red variety, Kalecik Karasi is renowned for its rich colour and red fruit and cocoa flavours. From vineyards high on the limestone-rich Guney Plateau, this red revels in its own complexity and sees no oak.

    About this bottle: This delightful red is produced in the Galilee region of Israel, in Binyamina’s elaborate winery, a building that began as a Rothschild perfume factory but now celebrates the very finest in wine technology. Winemaker Assaf Paz aged the wine in oak barrels for added elegance and dimension, in one of the country’s finest barrel cellars.
