Cotton Rich Tonal Floral Lace Pencil Skirt

The skirt was very well made and of a good quality. However, I had to return both of the sizes as the 8 was too small and the 10 too big. So I did not buy one. Such a pity.

The skirt is gorgeous. Wonderful fit, but it puckers at the side seams on the hip. Such a shame as it look great otherwise. It will sadly have to go back.

This is a lovely skirt ruined by bad workmanship. I am between a size 12 and 14 but found that the size 12 fitted wonderfully. However, at the hips on both sides - one more than the other the skirt 'puckered' at the seams. This made the skirt appearance a bad fit even though it wasn't everywhere else. When I examined the seams I found - having experience in making clothes - that the stitching had been done with a too tight tension. I perserverred and went back to my local store but found the same problem with several other skirts in my size. Even the sales assistant agreed the skirt was not right. Disappointed as I love the fabric and design of this skirt but I do like my clothes to look like they fit properly. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have experienced such a problem recently with M&S. In my history of shopping there I have not had this problem until recently.
