Cotton Rich Printed Kaftan

Quite nice but way too big on the bust - tried several sizes but none fitted well - a pity that the sizing at M&S appears to be quite random lately.

Ideal to wear down to breakfast over the top of swimsuit. Cool, attractive & easy to wear. Lightweight, so easy to pack into suitcase.

This is a good looking garment. The lurex thread stops the black being too stark. Super length. I am 5'7" and it reached to my ankles, grazing the floor at the splits on the sides. It would look good over swimwear. Also a relaxed, comfortable yet smart style. Cotton was just what I was looking for. So why did I return it? I am increasingly sensitive to the sun so was concerned the slightly sheer front and back panels would let rays through. Also, whilst I want complete coverage I wanted to be cool in something I could wear round the garden. I could see my legs through garment but that was okay, also I'd be wearing pants. I didn't want to have to wear a bra though on really warm days and was concerned neighbours might see outline of my bust through the slightly sheer material. So I wouldn't be relaxed wearing this in front of others. I strongly suspect I might regret my decision! I estimate the Large size would do up to size 20.

Good fit , but seemed too dark for me

Bought this for my sister who absolutely loved it- the drawstring in the middle makes it very flattering.

There were no reviews so I took a chance and am SO pleased that I did. I am usually a 14/16, preferring 16 for a more "relaxed" fit. I ordered a medium and the fit is perfect. I am 5' 4" and the kaftan is full length for me, but not so long as to trip me up. The metallised fabric has a slight sheen which makes it quite glam. I love it so much that I will be tempted to wear it over thermals in winter! I hope that it washes well......... Well done M&S - my confidence in you has been repaid

At the time of buying this was described as 'midi length' and there were no pictures on the model. When it arrived it was way too long even for a maxi (I am 5ft4) so unfortunately it had to go back. I notice the description still says 'length: below the knee'- well it's way, way below the knee lol! Still, good quality and style so would suit someone tall who wanted a maxi kaftan...
