Kids Chelsea Boot

Bought for my granddaughter aged 5 for school, she loved them, but sadly 5 days later I returned them because of the very poor quality the leather had sagged so much they became too big also the heel had incredibly worn down just within four days!

I have 4 daughters and this winter I bought this pair for one and another M&S pair for the other. The ones with sparkly elastic sides have word well. These have scuffed very badly at the front after just a couple of weeks wear and are going back. Both girls love this style - M&S please sort out the make quality. Am very surprised these haven't been recalled.

After my daughters boots came home scuffed on the toes within the 3rd day of wearing them i thought it was her that had been dragging her feet across the floor but at the age of 9 i thought she should know better? After now finding the sole coming away from the boot i thought i would buy her another pair the same as they are such a good fit and look ok.I have just been on this website to check availabilty to find the reviews bad so i have just read the reviews and it seems like others have experianced the same thing.There was me telling my daughter off and infact its the quality of these boots & not my daughter?? I certainly wont be buying these again then and will have to apologise to my daughter

I brought these boots for myself, I am always a size 5 but had to change for a 4. they are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever had and excellent value for money.

Exceptionally poor quality from M&S. Within a matter of weeks the coating had been scuffed off the toes and the soles became detached from the boot. I appreciate some wear and tear is to be expected but these have not lasted the winter, I have had to buy my daughter another pair of boots.

Very disappointed in these! If i had wanted to buy poor quality boots that were going to start to perish within 2 weeks i would have paid £10 - £15 less anywhere else? Paying extra at M&S usually means good quality, last years school shoes are still in great condition but the 2 pairs of boots purchased for my daughters are of no use at all!!!! I understand kids don't look after things as well as they should but this should be expected? A reasonable amount of wear & tear is acceptable but almost immediately the fronts had gone & elsewhere was looking shabby!

Bought to replace a previous pair of M&S boots my daughter wore for school. The previous pair had been bought over a year ago and although they looked worn they were still in good enough condition to carry on wearing had she not needed a new pair, so I was confident buying from M&S again. She chose these chelsea boot style shoes from a very limited selection of her size in store. Unfortunately, these boots on the same child, going to the same school and doing the same things were destroyed in 8 days (returned on the 9th). 4 days of wearing resulted in the outer coating coming off on the front and around the heels. I covered them over with polish and 4 days later the patches had grown to almost the whole of the toe and the heel area, plus the areas around the elasticated stitching. Even worse, by day 8 the back of the heel on both shoes was already worn down at an angle. As the heel/underside is one solid moulded piece they couldn't be re-heeled and therefore un-repairable - seriously you have to expect them to be lasting longer than that. Unless you have an incredibly careful child and these are only for occasional best (my daughter is actually very good at looking after shoes) then these shoes are not fit for purpose - they are in my opinion a very cheap quality fashion shoe that I would only expect of a low end brand. A chat online and returning them to store on day 9 saw them returned and refunded. My confidence with M&S children's shoes has seriously been dented and her replacement boots were from another store.

My 9 year old daughter loved the look of the boots but unfortunately they came apart at the toe after only 5 or 6 wears.
