Animal Print A-Line Mini Skirt

I'm not normally an animal print person, but the navy and cream mix of this fabric makes the pattern more subtle than it might have been in other colours. Fully lined, the fabric has a weighty feel to it, and the acrylic and viscose content should give the cotton and polyester some hard wearing qualities. Other reviewers have commented upon the popularity of this item, and unfortunately by the time I discovered it, there was only the 18" length remaining. Still, I'm only 5'4" and can get away with it with opaque tights. Very flattering.

Great pattern, colour and shape.Good quality fabric that doesn't cling. I wear with a fitted black jumper and thick black tights or with a long sleeved mustard top. Best buy in a while at M&S and I have received numerous complements. Obviously liked but others too as it sold out in size 10 on line and at my local stores, so I had to make a 50 mile roundtrip to purchase.

Why does M and S think that everyone wants a mini skirt? Most of your straight skirts are for office wear but this one was in 'designer' fabric but much too short. Same with the dress too short for anyone over the age of 35. You are going in the right direction though. With this kind interesting fabric.

I have to say I liked the look of this skirt when I first saw it in-store in early January despite the fact that I do not normally go in for animal print patterns. That it is a two-tone navy and white mix rather than trying to use be more animal-like (and thus warmer) tones is probably what drew me to it. Size wise, I went for the 16 in the longer length as the 14 was a little small and it looks better with the hem coming down to the top of my knee rather than higher up (the length down the back seam is actually 20in rather than the 21 stated). The fabric is a cotton rich jacquard style which is rather pleasing and seems to resist creasing quite well. I've been wearing it all day over opaque navy tights with a pale blue pullover, but I can see myself wearing this during the spring/summer months with lighter legwear and a light weight shirt. The only complaint I have is with the buying department for not ordering enough of them. They have been sold out online for a while and have been difficult to find in the stores in the right size.

Really nice colour combination and print. Nice quality fabric for the price and finished well. I've worn it already with navy cashmere sweater and long boots but will work really nice in summer with pumps and a shirt or t-shirt or heels for that matter. A splash of colour looks great too.

The material is lovely, as is the pattern. It also seems like very good quality. Unfortunately, it was far too tight and also too short to wear to work. I will be sending it back.

As soon as I spotted this skirt on the website I ordered it and am really pleased I did, it arrived today, and is great in all respects. Good quality material, looks like it will not crease. The fit is good, I often find the waist size is too big in a size 14, but need this size for the hips. Pleased I ordered it as now my size is out of stock.

I ordered a size 10 and when it arrived it was to small, took it back and tried on another size 10 in store which fitted perfectly. Assistant and I measured my ordered one and it was an 8. The skirt I now have is great and much admired by friends. The moral is to try on at least 2 of each size.
