Boys' 5 Pocket Jean Style Skinny Leg Trousers with Stormwear™

Sad to see these have gone but I can see why after reading the reviews. They do have a blue tint and are a lightweight fabric but they fitted my skinny son so well - everything else looked like clown trousers in comparison. Now I'm going to have to find something deemed acceptable as he's grown out of them already!! Please remake them but in black!!

These should not be in the school uniform section, they are more like a very dark navy, they don't look black and they are jeans which I'm sure most schools won't accept as school uniform. Very disappointed......

If you are ordering these for school - don't. They are not suitable material for school but more importantly, if you are hoping for a black pair of trousers, these are more like navy, no way are they black. I ordered these because my son is desperate for skinny school trousers and they are so hard to get hold of. M&S, you need to offer more fashionable school clothes!

These are very nice comfortable trousers and a great fit for a boy who is slim but unfortunately my son's not allowed to wear these trousers to his school as although it says they are black they look more like a dark navy in the light.

These jean style skinny fit trousers are from the school range, however on seeing these - they are NOT school uniform i dont know of any school who would allow these as school uniform. These need to be taken out of the school uniform catergory as its a waste of time ordering these in. I have brought jean style trousers before from other retailers and have been fine as school trousers.

Just the trousers my 14yr old was looking for only problem was the colour definatly not black more navy so ended up dying them black as he really liked them and now they look great

I can't fault the style, fit, value for money or quality the only problem was that they were not black more like a dark/navy blue and when put up against my sons black school sweatshirt it really showed the difference in colour . I would recommend to a friend as a good pair of trousers but not as a good pair of black school trousers. I returned and brought your other black skinny trousers which where a pound dearer but where definitely black.

Excellent, the first pair of school trouers, in years that my son, is happy to wear. He is even wearing them outside school!

I bought these online for my tall 13 year old son. I had previously bought him the skinny school trousers but they are mostly out of stock. The replacement skinny style has a permanent crease so my son refused to accept them as a substitute. I agreed to buy the jean style as I they have Stormwear which I hoped would make them durable. When I unpacked them they seemed very lightweight and I immediately wondered if they would be warm enough in the cold Scottish winter (we'll have to see how that goes). I also noted a distinct blue tone to the 'black' trousers. When my son wears them with his school pullover they are different colours. He doesn't really mind because he likes the style but I worry that the school contacts me about them.
