Extra Wide Leather Lace Up Brogue Shoes

I bought these for my husband. He has been trying to wear them in for weeks having to wear 2 pairs of socks to support his feet otherwise they would be covered in blisters. Leather is not good otherwise men would not have such a problem with these particular shoes also purchased by the husbands of other friends.

I bought these November 2013 on the back of the reviews read and also that it's from Marks and Spencer. Perhaps the ones on sale now are of a different quality to those reviewed. The leather on these shoes are SO SO stiff .. i understand having to 'break in' your shoes .. but honestly, these shoes will kill your feet before you manage to break them in. The leather is so tough and stiff it literally cuts into your ankles and instep with each step you take. I don't usually write product reviews unless they are very good or very bad. These shoes definitely fall in the latter category. A word of advice if you want to try them out. Don't wear them out. Keep the tags on and try it out so that you can return them if you need to. I made the mistake thinking that i could bear with it until the leather softened. WRONG!...

Lovely wide fit, perfect for my son.He uses them as school shoes and they are wearing very well!!!

I bought these shoes for my husband. The parcel arrived in Australia in less than a week. The shoes are excellent value as we would never be able to purchase brogues for this price. Excellent service M&S.

good shoes but unfortunately my husband has very wide feet and foot width was not wide enough for him, but may be ok for others as he has foot problems .

These give me electric shocks whenever I touch any metal object. They are therefore totally useless and I will now have to buy another pair of shoes. I won't be able to return these because I have worn them. Epic fail!

Have worn similar Brogues previously from M & S and found them very satisfactory. Only downside are the laces. What have they down with them? They're hard, inflexible and difficult to use. This type of lace is not confined to this style of shoe, having purchased another style recently. If the laces were of better quality I would have given top marks.

Good value shoes- "do what say on the tin"!

I bought these as school shoes, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. They're also wider at the front, which i prefer to the trendy pointy toe fashion at present. Good sole with adequate grip, and lovely leather which polishes up a treat!

Good solid comfortable work shoes in a wider foot have had them before excellent value.

Style I wanted. Good to have half-sizes and broad fit available. These shoes are also light in weight. Delivery to local store worked well.

The usual high M&S standard the product was just as described and offers good value for money at a very good price. The fit was first class and the whole shoe was comfortable to wear and very smart too A Very Good Purchase
