Big & Tall Pure Cotton Moleskin Trousers

brought these for my husband . the correct size came but he could not get the waist done up (ordered a cheaper pair of cords at the same time same size and they fit great) the material felt great so sorry but they have gone back

these trousers fit me perfectly,and are nice and toasty in this terrible weather. too bad they have run out of them.

The trousers, note size 48" waist and 29" leg, clearly were for me, a small tubby man . The trouble is that the c****h depth was not enough so trousers sat a few inches below actual waste. Result when you breath in the trousers will start to fall down! I am not asking for a `Simon Cowell` high waste height . I want trousers I feel comfortable in and trust to stay up, I am not looking for hipster style or fashion trousers. I ordered four pairs of trousers and only one pair fitted 04247456 or T17 09763/6376x had the others been the same size I would have purchased all four pairs. I am used to buying most of my clothes from yourselves, but you seem to be ingnoring us older loyal albeit a bit out of shape group. I look forward to some reply from you if that is possible

Ordered these for my hubby in his normal size to find they were too small at price £35 . Reordered 3days later in larger size only to find a price increase to £45 . A price jump of £10 !! . Larger ones good fit and looks smart , not to happy with price but find larger sizes hard to get so had to run with it .

I am a fan of moleskin type trousers and was looking fwd to adding these to my wardrobe for the winter months. However, on receipt I immediately formed a negative opinion as regards the quality; they certainly should not be priced at £45 - £35 maybe! Disregarding that; I certainly would have kept them had they fitted better but I found that the front and rear 'rise' measurement to be totally inadequate so they had to be returned unfortunately. Not all clear why these are described as 'Big and Tall' when they have the same 'rise' measurements as the non 'Big and Tall' range!?

I recently purchased a pair of these in Black, although I really wanted Blue which is not an option offered (odd!). All other M & S trousers I have purchased are 38" waist and 31" leg and fit me fine. These 38" waist trousers were at least an inch off me being able to do them up! It remains to be seen whether a 40" waist will fit without the trousers looking voluminous. It's a pity as the quality looks good and more formal than the 'jeans' type offered everywhere else. At £45 I would have expected these to have fitted me whereas at £29.50 I would not. They are still expensive. Given that they are made in Indonesia and the mark up must be heavy, £35 would be better value for money, in my opinion.

These are quite good quality (better than similar ones I had last year) I had to pick chocolate because black was never available..they are a "comfortable" fit, a little large. Choice in this Big and Tall range is very limited...

I'm 6ft 6ins tall, on the slim side and find difficulty getting off the peg clothes to fit me. These fitted perfectly, great qualilty and even delivered to local store. Well done M&S, what more can I ask ?

these should never be in the big and tall section they are a very small fit that do not have a big enough rise for the supposed waist size. It is beyond me that M&S do so little large mens clothing, you can buy large womens clothing anywhere however not mens and these trousers were appallingly small cut

Bought these in a 30/35 for my son who is hard to find trousers long enough without being larger waist size. They are a really good fit and the fabric is luxury moleskin (returned the cheaper and inferior Blue Harbour ones) Wish they did more colours and kept more stock as this size is really hard to find

Very cross- the trousers had the wrong label on the hanger, so were really a size smaller than ordered - couldn't reorder as they were then out of stock!

I could not understand why 27" leg is only available in the tall and mighty range. Would have been more happy if this length could have been found in a more reasonably priced cord trouser as I felt I was paying for the more expensive tall and mighty range when I could have bought it cheaper in another range. The waist was on the small size so the trousers will have to be returned anyway.

I bought these trousers for my elderly father. They are comfortable for him and the fabric is lovely and soft. If you have someone who likes a high waist and roomy trousers these are for you.
