Shelly Bay The Tangle - Case of 6
Sorry, this item is no longer available
Tantalising gooseberry fruit and flavours of apple and clove, then the whisper of an orange peel tang. This white really keeps the palate guessing. A deliciously candied sweetness continues right to the finish, giving a luscious warmth.
A true tangle of grapes – Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Riesling, each 33% of the blend – contrived by Aussie-trained winemakers Mike and Claire Allan. It’s unusual to see these three in a bottle together, but here, they grow side-by-side and are blended together in the winery as they ripen.

Lovely Wine
Yes, I recommend this
As a white wine fan I really liked this wine, served very cold it is refreshing and more'ish. Would buy again if and when it comes back into stock and is on special offer again.

Rhubarb!
Yes, I recommend this
I don't often taste and smell the flavours attributed to wines, but this one had a striking aroma and flavour of rhubarb! Not grapes I would usually buy, but I love wines from Marlborough so decided to give it a try. Intense flavours you expect from this region in a delicious wine.

Best served very cold. Personally I preferred the Sauvignon Blanc, but this is quite nice with or without food.
