A refreshingly dry South African Sauvignon Blanc with intense aromas of gooseberries and a hint of passion fruit.
This classic example of 100% Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Stellenbosch region of the Western Cape was made by Jeff Grier and Anton Saml of Villiera, two of the Cape's most highly respected winemakers. The grapes come from low yielding old vines using the traditional bush vine training system whereby natural shading of the grapes ensures development of intense Sauvignon Blanc aromas. This wine has been sealed with a screw cap, our aim is to choose the most suitable closure for each wine.
