Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad. Much longer in leg than labelled. At least an inch and a half longer in the leg than is labelled as and supposed be. I had to take them up. I have been wearing this leg length in M&S jeans and trousers for over 25 years. For some reasons in recent years many of your jeans are over long. WHY?? It just renders your jeans useless and unwearable like everyone else's. Having a "normal" leg length was why I bough M&S jeans for many years but you seem to abandoned this. This is not the first time this has happened. It seems you have changed what constitutes a leg measurement and no longer make jeans for average height people. It's things like this that are sadly forcing me to lose my loyalty to M&S after a long and happy partnership...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Suits me This is the fifth time I've bought this item in 10 years. Apart from a wobble ~ 4 years ago when the pockets wore through in less than a year, quality has been consistently high at a very reasonable cost. Last pairs, bought 2 years ago, still in very good state but consigned to being "working" clothes - and likely to have another 2 or 3 years of hard wear before being finally relinquished. Fit has not varied over the last 10 years which gives confidence in ordering. Style not important to me but I think they look good on me - semi-smart enough to wear with a casual jacket. Overall, excellent value for money. Shall buy again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mens Jeans Bought same size and style as a previous pair of these jeans which I still wear regularily. The jeans are now a complete different fit short in the back and tight over the thighs and not at all comfortable. I will be returing them. This is not the first time in the past 6 months or so I have bought M&S clothes to find the fit is differnt fom the same size and style of the product previously bought and worn. Summer shirts was a typical example last year where the styling had changed by M&S own promotion so I had to buy a size larger than previous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Disappointed My partner, over the years, has always bought M & S jeans with a 29" leg. However the last 2-3 years when he has bought a pair they were too short. He liked the look of these jeans and thought perhaps he ought to try a 31" but when they arrived he was disappointed to find they were about 6" too long, instead of 2" longer!! He has now reverted back to try a 29" leg and hopes when they arrive that they are ok and not 6" too short!! If not, they will have to be returned (again) and he will unfortunately have to try a different company. PS. Just arrived and fit perfect. Happy now.But why is it that when held up against an old 29" leg, they are 2" longer? New supplier?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very high waist jeans. I purchashed these jeans on line but didnt realise they sat very high on the waist, so I had to go to the store to change them. I couldnt see anywhere on line to say they were this style but perhaps I missed it. Funnily in store the same jeans had a stitched label saying very high on the waist, but all the tie on labels said sit on the waist. I did ask the girl if people actually bought very high on the waist jeans (apart from Simon Cowell). She smiled and said not many. Why on earth do you sale jeans that come up almost to your chest. Anyway thats just a personal view, I actually exchanged them for a pair that fitted slightly below the waist which were much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why have they changed? I've been wearing the M&S "regular stretch fit jeans with stormwear" for quite a few years now.During that time I've experienced subtle changes to production, however the most recent pair(s) I purchased are not anything like how they used to be. The last good pair I bought was in September 2014. These were true to size, the right colour and fit. The pair I purchased in June 2015 are a different cut and fit; a different colour - despite being the same "tint" description; and quite frankly are a different size. They're still a quality item, but disappointingly not what I had come to expect from this jean. They have been consigned to the "charity shop pile" as these changes mean they're not my jean of choice any more. It's a sad day!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Been buying these jeans for years, however this year I’ve noticed the quality has detoriated. This recent batch I bought 6 pairs all had to go back, the quality of workmanship is so poor they are only fit for the bin. The style of the jeans is ok as is the fabric, sizing is hit & miss. The faults are with material not being caught in the seams so holes are left, one leg longer than the other, wonky stitching, missing stitching, stitching in a knotted mass as if the machines just stayed in one area going over & over it until it’s a bunched up mess. I always used to depend on the quality M&S was famous for but not anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super smart jeans (not tight) solid colour If these were womens jeans they would be described as comfortable jeans because they are comfy. They have a little stretch and the colours are great. light blue for summer and the Dark wash for winter and for smart occasions. We have been buying these for years I think they are a little longer which works well because my dad was in between lengths originally but a 31" leg is great for him being 6ft 2" with a long body.... but bare in mind these are a high waist too. And also the leg is slightly wider but not excessively. Fantastic product washes well and tumbles well as long as not overdone.
