Pure Cashmere Roll Neck Jumper is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 904.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cream colour is see-through, other colours OK I think that all cashmere jumpers in cream ( or white) should be made just slightly ticker, for example, 3-ply rather than 2-ply, or stronger 2-ply, so that they don't get so see-through, which is really a pity as the cream colour is lovely, I tried in the shop, and I am really needing this colour to match some of my clothes. The other colours are fine, they don't have this issue, and they are worth buying. Next year, I would like to see the following colours in the polo neck jumper: light (not dark!) bright turquoise, pastel pink lilac (a "happy" one, not a bland one), pastel green/aquamarine, M&S please, please, please, consider that!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice sweater Purchased this in the powder blue/bluebell shade and it's lovely. The jumper is spot on for size both in width of body, length of arms and also in the body. Only worn once and there is moderate pilling, but then cashmere is renowned for it and M&S cashmere is no different from any other brand and if you want to wear cashmere it's something you have to put up with. It isn't the thickest jumper, so I would probably wear a T-shirt under or a cardigan/jacket/coat over when the weather turns cold; but for September it's perfect on its own. I would say good value for money overall and only time will tell if it wears well over the winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my cashmere I buy marksies cashmere every year. I tend to stick to the basic colours of black, silver grey and navy. I did also buy a soft duck egg blue and a light pink. Some of the other colours are not my thing. I usually wear a size12 but to allow for a little shrinkage in the first wash, I always buy a 14. In saying that they do wash well and I like mine to be just a half size on the big side. I try to buy them at the 20% which makes them not quite as expensive. I buy a mix of polo neck, round neck and cardigans. They keep me warm and cosy in the winter months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everday roll neck jumper I regularly buy cashmere cardigans and jumpers from M&S. So I was very disappointed when the navy blue polo neck jumper arrived with sleeves that were too short. Normally sleeves are about 17 inches long, on this item they were only 16 inches long and I felt I had to keep pulling them down! I returned the item and ordered another one. It arrived and it was perfect. However, this tells me that quality control is perhaps an issue and comparing this year's product with last year's - the wool is thinner - despite that I still like the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous colour (mauve) This is my 17th cashmere jumper from M&S, and I still wear the very first one which is a v-neck stripes of navy, purple and turquoise. I've had it many years and it still washes beautifully, as do all the others. I can't bear anything tight around my throat, so if I a high polo neck, I have to go with cashmere. A very cold winter has been forecast so I shall be wearing polos a lot, just like last winter. I haven't worn or washed this one yet but I have no fear of putting it in the washing machine on a wool wash. I also only use a liquid detergent specially for fine woollens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size schmize... Purchased as a gift for my wife, who is a size 10 in practically everything she owns. Having read the reviews on here saying how large these come up, I went for a size 8. Grrrrrrr. Then spent an hour sitting on the M27 the following day taking it back to get a size 10. Buy your normal size - they don't come up that big. If it is a little too large just congratulate yourself on how remarkably svelte you are, and then treat yourself to some cake to celebrate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely quality roll neck! I purchased the cherry red instore after seeing it on display and loving the colour. I had initially wanted an ivory(winter white) one, but was swayed by the beautiful colour of this! I purchased a 14 (I am 5ft 5, with 36B bust and roughly 32 inch waist and slim hips) as these days I seem to have somewhat of a 'tummy' and I love the longer length of these jumpers. it fits well, sits on the lower hip nicely, the roll neck is perfect, not droopy at all and overall quality and feel of it is wonderful. Very pleased. would recommend washing it inside out,(in a net washbag) on a cold wool wash with delicates liquid and fabric softener, then left to dry flat naturally. gentle steam iron is then all that is required, for me anyway, I find this works well. will look wonderful with my berry jeggings,so pleased. Do buy, you wont be disappointed!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointingly thin Over the years, I have bought many cashmere jumpers from M&S and have always been pleased with both the quality and the price. The two polo neck cashmere jumpers that I bought last week were disappointingly thin and lacked the usual softness of cashmere - so much so, that I had to check the fabric labels to see if they were made from 100% cashmere. The roll neck is thin and floppy, too. I have kept the one jumper, as it was such a pretty shade of blue but have returned the other one. I have my fingers crossed that the jumper will not go into holes at the seams and might soften up with washing and wearing. Overall verdict - not up to usual M&S standards.
