100 Denier Heatgen™ Opaque Tights is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Reinforced toe? Very comfortable. At first when I put on these tights I thought that they were fantastic as the fit was perfect and they felt so comfortable. Unfortunately when I took them off, at the end of the day, I found a hole in the toe....I had only worn them once! I couldn't find any foreign objects in the tights to have caused this and my toe nails are very short and not sharp. I was very disappointed as they were so comfortable. The toe didn't appear to be reinforced and I suggest that this needs to be improved. A very expensive pair of tights for only one use. None of my other tights have ever holed on a first wearing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Heatgen thermal tights I bought several pairs of these tights about a month ago and always only ever buy M and S underwear for its great quality. These tights are warm and soft but thats where the positives stop! At £9.50 you expect a higher level of quality and so i was surprised and very dissapointed to find they fall down as you walk so you are forever pulling them up which is most unladylike. The elastic around the waistband has almost gone so they are now unwearable. Many people have had the same issue, surely M and S should be removing them from sale as there are clear product faults. I will be returning them for a refund. My advice would be to keep your receipt if you purchase them, as they will have to be returned after a few wears!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hole in Two! My Heatgen tops have served me well and when I saw the Heatgen tights in my local M & S, I couldn't resist them, despite the hefty price tag. The tights were lovely and soft, fitted well and were very warm without looking bulky, however, on the first day of wearing them, the tights developed a large hole (near my big toe). This was a huge disappointment , and even more so, the 'hole' it left in my purse. I always wear M & S tights and have never had problems with them. Unfortunately, I had thrown away the tags and receipt and could not take the tights back to M & S.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nearly very good tights I was all set to give these tights a glowing review as they perform well in many areas: really good fit, nice fabric, not bulky but warm. But then a hole appeared in one toe, after only a couple of wearings...I NEVER get holes in my toes, I didn't have excessively long toenails or shoes that rubbed there. Some M&S tights I have been wearing the same pair for years with no sign of any hole in the toe, or anywhere else. Very surprising. As I really like the tights, I shall sew up the hole and persist with the tights, but I may not buy any more pairs after all...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fell apart after one day At £9.50 per pair these tights were not a bargain and I would expect them to last an entire season. The first pair developed a stretched waistband with elastic fibres spilling out after the first wear. The second pair developed a hole where the waistband meets the top of the 100 denier fibre after the first wear. I am a size 12 and bought these tights in size L, so there is no issue about them being over stretched. I will be returning them for a full refund. It is a great pity that the quality of the waistband is so poor, as the tights themselves are superb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tights for 10 years. I have not been able to wear ANY tights for at least ten years because I developed an allergy to man-made fibres, particularly anything made from polyester or polyamide (which included the elastic) .During that time I have had to send to New Zealand to get fine woollen underwear in order to keep warm, but having tried the Heat-Gen Thermal underwear and found it so soft and warm and with no allergic reaction, I decided to try the tights. They are wonderful and I feel liberated !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, stylish and warm. I bought my first pair of these tights when on a shopping trip. I was so delighted with them, I ordered two more pairs online. Unfortunately, the second pair were faulty, within a couple of wearings the waist went floppy and the tights would not stay up. The first pair that I bought in-store are still doing well though, so maybe just a faulty pair. They are really comfortable and warm to wear, would buy again....that is unless the other two pairs go the same way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and ladder resistant! I love these tights! I usually buy fuzzy wool ones, but these are almost as warm and give a much sleeker look. They aren't as opaque as I was expecting, but they still look great and are incredibly comfortable. I'm also pleased the waistband isn't as high as it is on some M&S tights--just below the navel for a change. Also, they seem completely snag resistant which is great as the kittens have tried to climb up my legs while I was wearing them.
