Move over summer pastels, there’s a new tailoring trend in town (yes, really) and this season it’s all about retro shades, as seen at Marco de Vincenzo. Try our surprisingly versatile camel pant suit with ring-detailed loafers, or opt for cropped corduroy pants with a fitted polo-neck sweater.

Fashion’s love affair with layering shows no sign of abating, meaning that wearing half your closet in one go on chilly days is now considered a sartorial statement. Start with a lightweight polo-neck sweater, layer over a diaphanous floral dress and top with a plush shearling coat, or a quilted jacket as seen at Richard Quinn.
