JENNY: “For this look, I’m wearing my new favourite Per Una jeans in ecru. I could talk about these great-value jeans all day! They are super flattering, fitted at the waist and tapered towards the ankle. The cream colour is a lovely alternative to white and perfect for the transition into spring. I’ve worn them with a timeless striped sweater and a leather jacket to give the look a little more edge.”
EMMA: “I wore this outfit for a recent live event, and I felt so comfortable in the pure cotton longline denim jacket. I love the revamp of the classic denim jacket with cut-out details at the side – it looks great over a floaty dress. It would also look chic over a plain tee and darker jeans. Turn the cuff up and push up the arm to show more detail of your outfit underneath. This look is ideal for brunch with friends, finished with Western boots and gold jewellery.”
Casual denim outfits
EMMA: “I love the fit of these cropped barrel-fit jeans. The shorter length is a great way to show off these stripe-detail leather sneakers, which are ultra-comfy for the school run. I’ve gone for light indigo mix – a great shade for summer. I can’t wait to wear them with a chunky sandal. The plain white tee under the grey cashmere sweater is actually from the menswear collection. Complete the look with a sleek camel coat from Autograph – I love the length of this one – for smart-but-comfortable finish.”
JENNY: “For my second outfit, I’ve gone for the boyfriend jeans. They have a mid-rise waist and an ankle-grazer length, which makes for a super-casual and easy-going look. Try layering with a premium white shirt and a moss green sweater – perfect for working-from-home.”
How to dress up your denim
EMMA: “Double denim is perfect for night-time events. I love these wide-leg high-waisted jeans in a mid-indigo shade. I added a pair of western boots to the outfit to make it feel like more of evening look. To dress things down for work or a weekend shopping trip, team the gorgeous soft-touch denim shirt open over a striped cotton T-shirt and funky leopard-print sneakers.”
JENNY: “Let’s talk about this evening look. The wide-leg high-waisted jeans are perfect for a glamorous night out with friends. I have used a beautiful corset from the lingerie collection as a top. It features panelling throughout that flatters any figure. A boxy black blazer hung over the shoulders completes this sophisticated-but-sexy look. Pair with a black heel and you’re good to hit the town!”
