Tie Side A-Line Midi Skirt

I fell in love with this skirt before it even became available to purchase so I was straight in there when it went on sale. I would say that this skirt is more of a shell pinky peach colour than white. I have a similar (black) skirt from another store that is many years old that I have worn to death. Unfortunately with the M&S version the volume starts too near to the waist which spells disaster for anyone bigger than a size 14. The result was that it made me (a shapely 18) look more like a 22! The pale colour did not help matters. It was neither A line or midi (more of a maxi on me, 5"6), and certainly not "a regular silhouette"). I was still tempted to keep it as I loved it so much, however I found it impossible to find a top that looked right with it - anything tucked in added even more bulk around the midriff, and anything else just make me look shapeless. So, with a heavy heart, it had to go back. Such a shame.

Ordered this on line (22) and then collected and tried on in store. I am 5ft 6" tall and found it to be on my ankles and although it fitted on the waist it had loads of room/swing to it, I also looked larger so would recommend down-sizing. Would look nice on a smaller sized person with wedges/heels

A lovely skirt, which flows and drapes beautifully, due to the different layers of the fabric and the elasticated waist. It is different in style and so looks expansive and elegant. I bought my usual size, but it felt big so ordered a size down and it was much better. It is described as a soft white, but mine almost has a soft blush hue to it, which I like.

Wow lovely skirt, material hangs lovely , quite like no almost maxi on me 5 foot 6 , but will be great with high heels , flows lovely , it has 2 side pockets but no side zip , fully lined and can't see through , really love it fir my upcoming cruise with a camisole , colour light cream , goes with every colour , love it ❤️
