I'm a size 14, 5 foot 6 tall and the dress is very smart and comfortable. I would say it is a formal work style dress that looks more expensive than it was. Would definitely recommend.

This was well made and quite a large fir. I think I could have got away with a size smaller. I thought it might accentuate the curves but actually flattering. The material though was very thick and in warm weather not the most comfortable to wear. Smart though.

I ordered 2 sizes - the smaller one was good but left no room for lunch so I tried the bigger one. The difference was enormous and too much to be able to wear it. The length was about 3" more too. I loved the dress and felt very good in it. I could have been ordering items for weeks until I found one that was suitable.

Lovely fabric. Beautiful dress but first dress ordered was a bit small. My fault! Second dress ordered was good fit BUT had hole in fabric of sleeve.Third dress had the zip problem as mentioned by other reviewers. Poor workmanship has spoiled this product. Loved the dress but have given up!

I love this dress! The unusual stripe is great and it is a lovely shade of blue. It is very flattering as the fabric is thick enough to not be too clingy to show lumps and bumps but shows all curves in the right places! No problems with fit or length.

Huge problems with zip. Tried 2 dresses from the rail and another ordered therefore from a different batch. The same problem appeared on each dress with bulging at the bottom of the zip. Dress looked great from the front but with a side view the dress sat very badly with the base of the zip causing the problem. Very disappointing!

I loved the look of this dress but the fit is odd. It was perfect except that it was baggy round the right hip. I bought a second one, in case this was a one-off, but it was the same. So another trip to return it is needed, Nuisance as I do not need anything else at this time.

I agree with previous review- I liked the dress, style,colour and fitted me perfectly BUT there is a 22 inch zip fitted onto a 20 inch aperture, so there is 2 inches too much of zip at the bottom which makes the otherwise silhouette fitting dress poke out in the bottom area, for this reason I have to return it.

I have been very disappointed as the zip is not finished correctly and sticks out at the back. I went to exchange it at Ipswich store hoping the zip has been put in better and sits correctly. If not I will return it.

I bought it in my size,12 and it fits perfectly. Very flattering. I'm 5'6 and it comes to just on the knee. The white stripes are brighter than they appear in the picture and the different directions of the stripes are within the pattern, not stitching. Easy to wear.

I love this dress! I saw it online and bought in store and it looks even better than the photo. The fit is true to size and although 'figure hugging' it's not too tight so gives a great silhouette. The material is quite heavy but also soft which gives it a lovely feel and fit. The navy colour is so flattering and I teamed it with the navy leather stiletto shoes (see separate review) to create a really stunning outfit. I think this will become my favourite dress.

This dress is so flattering, it hugs in all the right places and the pattern is very forgiving to lumps and bumps. I am 5ft 6inches and it just touches the knee, so thank you M & S for listening to ladies who don't really want to show their knees!! It was a little bit pricey but it really is a nice dress. Only four stars due to the price!
